Soccer & Fort Building all in a Days Work!

Jacob had a soccer game on Saturday morning. This is his first year to play soccer and he really enjoys it and he is really good.

After Jacobs soccer game Maddie, my niece, had a soccer game so we decided to stay a watch one of her games.

Once soccer was over we headed home and while I got lunch cooked for the boys they built themselves a fort in the living room. Dates wrong on pictures.

Funny things the boys do and say....

After I picked Jared up from daycare and we were on our way to get Jacob we were stopped at a stop light and Jared said, "that is a red bud tree" and sure enough it was. I said, "you are really smart...how did you know that?" He said that his daddy told him that this morning. He looked out the other window and he said "mommy look at that big tree" and I said "yes it is big" and he said "yeh it is called a green bud." (April 8th, 2010)
This morning Jared got in bed with us and when Kenny asked him why he got in our bed he said he had a night dream that's why. (March 12, 2010)
Last night when we got home Kenny was outside and Jacob said, "I am going to go play a Frank on Daddy." I asked him if he meant a prank and he said, "No a Frank". Kenny said that Jacob got him with the Frank. (August 25, 2009)

Today on our way home from the mountains Kenny was acting silly and Jacob said that he was being "Retaded" when asked what that meant he said he was when you recorded a movie. I asked him why he thought his daddy was "Retaded" and he said because he is coping me. (February 7, 2009)
Jared and I were in the car and I asked him if he wanted his drink and he said, "No Thanks" and I said, "You're so nice" and he said, "Yeah I am smart". Silly little boy. (January 16, 2009)

The other night on the way home from Nana's, Jared said see my booboo and was showing us his bandaid. Yesterday when the boys and I got home they wanted to go outside and play and I was going to clean my car. We went in the house to get them a snack and I changed clothes. When you see a little black and white animal running across the road and you are praying it does not raise its tail Jared will tell you that you are not seeing a sKunk but instead are seeing a sTunk.
