Fun at Nanna's & PaPa's
Saturday we went to my parent's house and visited with Jason, Lindsey, Maddie and Julia. The kids played and we were just able to sit and visit. Here are a few pictures of the kids. Later that evening we went to a Mardi Gras Party in Walters and the kids played game after game. They won lots of prizes and had lots of fun. Jared played the cake walk and won the first time.

First Soccer & T-ball meetings for Spring '09
Tonight Jacob and I will be going to our first meeting for Spring soccer. I think I mentioned before that a friend of ours and I will be coaching the boys soccer team this year. Tonight all the kids will be able to meet and we will discuss where and when to practice. Jacob is excited to get to play with his friend from church and his cousin and also a student in his class at Central High. Also, Kenny will be going to a T-ball meeting tonight to get information to get that started in about 2 months. We are in for a couple of busy months ahead of us.

Mickey here we come
Guess what we did last Friday? We put our deposit down for our first trip to Disney World. The boys are so excited. Jacob is most excited about getting to ride on an airplane and Jared says he is going to see Mickey Mouse club house on an airplane. They said they will hug Mickey and everyone but I wonder if they will or not. We are going with my older brother and his wife and 2 year old daughter. I think the kids will have allot of fun and I bet we will have a little also.

If you have any advice on what to take or not take or what to see or not see please let me know.

Valentines Weekend
The boys both had their Valentines parties on Friday at school. I was able to make it to Jacob's party but not Jared's. They both came home with a bag full of candy and cards. We got them their first Webkinz that they have wanted for the last 6 months.
Saturday we all sleep in thanks to the boys and then we started cleaning house. With the help of my wonderful husband we cleaned the entire house front to back and top to bottom. About 4pm we headed to the church for our annual Valentines Steak Dinner. This is the 9th year for this and it has grown every year. I bet the first year we maybe had 10 couples and this year we had about 105 people. After we ate a bunch of us broke out the cards and played a game of Nert's. That is the best card game ever. We finally left around 9pm so we could get the kids in bed to wake up and go back to the church for Mass and Sunday school. It seemed like a short weekend but we got allot accomplished and had allot of fun.

Hope everyone had a good Valentines!

The orange store and Mt. Scott
Today we were taking the boys to Mt. Scott because the weather was really nice outside and we needed to make a quick stop at Home Depot and they were having their monthly craft for the kids. While Kenny was shopping the boys wanted to make the craft box so I stayed with them and helped out. It was really cute and they even got their own apron and a little pin showing the craft they made. The guy said they do this the first Saturday of every month and they get a new pin for every craft they do. Jacob has already decided that we will be going there the first Saturday of every month. He even asked me if I could put this on my calendar so we didn't forget.

After we finished up our crafts we headed to the mountains. We went and ate a Meers and shared their famous homemade ice cream and peach cobbler...it was huge...I wish I would have taken a picture of it. After eating were going to drive up the mountain and found a little trail to walk so we let Jacob lead us on a trail walk...he thought that was really neat to be leading us all. We then headed up the mountain and climbed on the rocks with the boys for at least 30 minutes...they really liked climbing the rocks. It was a little windy but not too bad. We did get to see a couple of buffaloes and some longhorns.

Jacob wanted to take a picture so this is the picture he took. Pretty good just missing part of our heads.

Haircuts & picnics
Jared wanted his haircut like bubba's this time...it is allot shorter than I normally get it cut but it ended up looking really cute on him.

It was about 75 degrees out today and so when the boys and I got home from school and work they had their snack and headed outside to play. Jared got this tire to make a sandbox out of for his birthday there is a little sand in the bottom of it and they love playing in it. We will add some more to it this spring when they get to play in it more.

They said that they wanted to have a picnic outside for supper.

We always tell the boys to make a Happy plate with supper by eating everything on their plate. I made the kids a smiley face out of their food on their plate tonight...they thought it was the coolest thing and guess what they ate every piece of their food. They liked being able to say they were eating the eyes and ears and everything. I might have to try this one more often.

They were drinking chocolate milk with their supper and they thought it was funny that they had chocolate milk mustaches.

Sometimes these boys are so full of energy I don't know if I can make it through the day...but it is worth every minute of it...they grow up sooo fast.

Prayers & ABC's
At Sunday school class the boys are starting to learn their prayers. In the first video Jared is trying to say the Hail Mary. It should be said Hail Mary Full of Grace and Jared says Ho Mary to the Grace.
In this video he is supposed to be doing the sign of the cross. Looks like we still have a little bit of work.
And last but not least, Jared is saying his ABC's. If you listen really close at the end of his ABC's you will hear a different ending than you would normally hear. No re-singing them with this boy.
If anyone knows how to make these silly videos upright please please teach me! I have tried everything...they are saved right but when I upload them to my blog they mess up.
