4H pumpkin contest

Tuesday night at 4H they decorated their pumpkins for the pumpkin contest today. The cloverbuds can actually win a prize in this contest and not just a participation ribbon. The prize is a Wal-Mart gift card and Jacob really wants to win "the credit card with not his mommas name on it" so he can buy what he wants at Wal-mart with it. His pumpkin was a frog prince. I took a picture with my phone but I haven't downloaded those pictures yet. I will soon I promise. We should find out tomorrow if he won the contest or not.

Funny things the boys do and say....

After I picked Jared up from daycare and we were on our way to get Jacob we were stopped at a stop light and Jared said, "that is a red bud tree" and sure enough it was. I said, "you are really smart...how did you know that?" He said that his daddy told him that this morning. He looked out the other window and he said "mommy look at that big tree" and I said "yes it is big" and he said "yeh it is called a green bud." (April 8th, 2010)

Today on our way home from the mountains Kenny was acting silly and Jacob said that he was being "Retaded" when asked what that meant he said he was when you recorded a movie. I asked him why he thought his daddy was "Retaded" and he said because he is coping me. (February 7, 2009)
Jared and I were in the car and I asked him if he wanted his drink and he said, "No Thanks" and I said, "You're so nice" and he said, "Yeah I am smart". Silly little boy. (January 16, 2009)

Yesterday when the boys and I got home they wanted to go outside and play and I was going to clean my car. We went in the house to get them a snack and I changed clothes. When you see a little black and white animal running across the road and you are praying it does not raise its tail Jared will tell you that you are not seeing a sKunk but instead are seeing a sTunk.
