Memorial Day

Yesterday we got up and took the boys to the park and went fishing and had a picnic and let them play on the playground. They caught about 20 perch and about 5 mud cat. They really had fun and loved catching all the fish. After the fishing and park trip we went home and they took a nap while I mowed and Kenny cleaned out the gutters on the house. After they woke up we got ready and headed to Kenny's great-aunts house for hot dogs and hamburgers and homemade ice cream. Then we headed home and got ready for a short week of work.

Also, Jacob had so much fun at daycare on Friday and said that he had fun and was excited to go today. Yea!!!

Funny things the boys do and say....

After I picked Jared up from daycare and we were on our way to get Jacob we were stopped at a stop light and Jared said, "that is a red bud tree" and sure enough it was. I said, "you are really smart...how did you know that?" He said that his daddy told him that this morning. He looked out the other window and he said "mommy look at that big tree" and I said "yes it is big" and he said "yeh it is called a green bud." (April 8th, 2010)
This morning Jared got in bed with us and when Kenny asked him why he got in our bed he said he had a night dream that's why. (March 12, 2010)

Today on our way home from the mountains Kenny was acting silly and Jacob said that he was being "Retaded" when asked what that meant he said he was when you recorded a movie. I asked him why he thought his daddy was "Retaded" and he said because he is coping me. (February 7, 2009)
Jared and I were in the car and I asked him if he wanted his drink and he said, "No Thanks" and I said, "You're so nice" and he said, "Yeah I am smart". Silly little boy. (January 16, 2009)

The other night on the way home from Nana's, Jared said see my booboo and was showing us his bandaid. Yesterday when the boys and I got home they wanted to go outside and play and I was going to clean my car. We went in the house to get them a snack and I changed clothes. When you see a little black and white animal running across the road and you are praying it does not raise its tail Jared will tell you that you are not seeing a sKunk but instead are seeing a sTunk.
