Soccer & OU game

After Jacob's soccer game we stopped and picked a friend of the boys up that goes to church with us and headed for Norman. OU had a red vs. white scrimmage. The boys had red OU hair as Jared would say and were supper excited to watch a football game in person and not on TV. We met Kenny's brother and his wife at the game and the boys had a blast.

Jacob had his Easter party today at school. They had an egg hunt and then they had their party and had too much food to eat. Then they all passed out their treat bags.

Easter Party #1

Jared had his Easter Party at school today. They had an egg hunt and then a party with lots of sweets. When I told him I had to go back to work his eyes started watering and I said, "Why are you crying?" and he said, "I'm not" as he was wiping his tears away. It was so sad I almost started crying. Track, Soccer, Eggs, Clowns & Pizza

WARNING!!! This is one long post for one busy weekend!

Friday afternoon Maddie had a track meet and so Mom, me and the boys headed over to watch her run the 100 meter dash. She also did a couple other events but the boys and I had to leave before it was over to go to church. Mom stayed with Maddie and then brought her to me when it was over. Maddie stayed the night with us Friday night because Jacob wanted her to soooo bad.

Saturday Maddie and Jacob both had soccer games at 9am. Maddie said she thinks they won their soccer game and Jacob's team lost by 1 point 4 to 3. Jacob made two goals and Aiden made one. Of course I do not have any pictures of Jacob's game. I have some from Maddie's game that Lindsey sent me.

After the soccer games Kenny and I went and bought me a road bike and then we met up with everyone at the Easter Egg hunt. All the kids had lots of fun and lots of prizes. Of course we had 3 different fields to watch becuase Maddie and Jacob were on different ones and then Jared, Julia and Emma were all on one. I took pics of Jacob and Maddie and Lindsey got pics of the little ones. Papa Conway helped Jared hunt his eggs so I could take pictures.

After the soccer game we all went and ate at Eds and then Kenny, Maddie, me and the boys headed to OKC. We meet up with a guy that Kenny bought his road bike from and then we went to Academy to get some stuff for the bikes and headed to Increadible Pizza with Josh, Akalya and Emma. The picture of Maddie and Jacob in the sunglasses was because those were new glasses they got at Academy. They said they were stylen. Jacob ate about 6 pieces of pizza as always and then we went and played some games. Jacob and Josh won the car race and Jacob was very happy about that. After a couple hours of playing it was getting close to 9 we decided to head home. We ended up getting home about 11:30 so Maddie just stayed the night with us again. We all got up and went to church and then came home and crashed. It was so windy and cold Sunday that they called off the Biggest Loser Challenge.

Not so busy week!

A week that was supposed to be really buys has turned out to be a not so busy week. T-ball practice Tuesday went really well...we have 12 players and only 5 of them have played before. They all seem to be pretty good though....and I think they all had allot of fun.

Wednesday we went to the gym and then we came home and the boys were in bed and asleep by 7:30pm. They were really whinny and so we decided early bed time was a must and they went right to sleep...so I guess they were tired.

Yesterday we were supposed to have soccer and t-ball practice but because the wind was blowing about 30mph and it was only about 52 degrees we canceled both practices. Kenny and I decided we would go to the gym since we didn't have anything to do. After the gym the boys and I stopped at the store and got Jacob some Easter eggs and some candy to fill them for his Easter party next week.

Today is FRIDAY....YEAH!!!! We have Stations of the Cross and our soup supper tonight. I am in charge of the soup and dessert tonight because mom has took it the last couple of Fridays and she is working the spaghetti dinner today. Kenny put on some vegetable stew this morning and when i get home I will make a fruit salad. After church the guys are going to build some shelves for the flower closet at the church and the girls will start filling the Easter eggs for the egg hunt on Easter Sunday.

This weekend will be pretty busy for us too. Saturday Jacob and Maddie both have soccer games at 9am and then there is an Easter Egg hunt that we are going to take the boys to.(Kenny and I took them last year and they had allot of fun) Then Kenny is wanting to go to OKC to meet a guy about a Bike. Sunday after church and Sunday dinner we have a Biggest Loser competition. Hopefully, I will get some good pictures that I will be able to share with you next week.

Hope everyone has a Great weekend...It is supposed to be in the 80's here on Saturday.

Funny things the boys do and say....

After I picked Jared up from daycare and we were on our way to get Jacob we were stopped at a stop light and Jared said, "that is a red bud tree" and sure enough it was. I said, "you are really smart...how did you know that?" He said that his daddy told him that this morning. He looked out the other window and he said "mommy look at that big tree" and I said "yes it is big" and he said "yeh it is called a green bud." (April 8th, 2010)
This morning Jared got in bed with us and when Kenny asked him why he got in our bed he said he had a night dream that's why. (March 12, 2010)
Last night when we got home Kenny was outside and Jacob said, "I am going to go play a Frank on Daddy." I asked him if he meant a prank and he said, "No a Frank". Kenny said that Jacob got him with the Frank. (August 25, 2009)
Jared told me the other day...."Excuse me...I Bert(Burped)".....So I said, "Hi Bert I am Ernie". Jared said, "Mommy you not Ernie and I said I Bert." (July 2009)
Jared calls his sippy cup a sikky cup. (July 13, 2009)
Jared says Bannana "Pannana" (March 16, 2009)
Lately, when you tell Jared something he says, "I know it!" I told him yesterday that he was getting big and he said "I know it." Silly boy (Feb 27, 2009)
Jacob has always had a hard time understanding the difference of Today and Tomorrow. If you ever say we are going to do something Tomorrow he says you mean "Today when we wake up."(February 6, 2009)
Today on our way home from the mountains Kenny was acting silly and Jacob said that he was being "Retaded" when asked what that meant he said he was when you recorded a movie. I asked him why he thought his daddy was "Retaded" and he said because he is coping me. (February 7, 2009)
Jared and I were in the car and I asked him if he wanted his drink and he said, "No Thanks" and I said, "You're so nice" and he said, "Yeah I am smart". Silly little boy. (January 16, 2009)
Today on the way to pick up Jacob from school....Jared had a piece of gum and he kept taking it out of his mouth....I told him if he took it out again I would make him throw it out the window and he said, "OK Mister"....I told him I am a Misses because I am a girl and he said,"You are not a girl you are a mommy woman"...So there you have it I am finally not a girl anymore! (January 8, 2009)
Sunday the boys were all dressed and waiting on me to get ready and Kenny said come on mommy lets go...and Jacob said, "Women...they will never learn." Boys...boys...boys...were is my girl that understands. :-) (January 4, 2009)
Yesterday, on the way to pick up Jacob, Jared said, "Hey mom...me and you go get bubba...how 'bout that" and I said ok...how 'bout that...and he said, "I told you twice mom." (January 6, 2009)
Jared has been saying, "In the dirt" about everything lately...he will say "I love you, in the dirt"...he adds it to the end of almost everything he says. Not sure how he got started on this but he thinks it is so funny. (December 2008)
The other night on the way home from Nana's, Jared said see my booboo and was showing us his bandaid. We asked Jacob what happened and he said, "Well, we were going outside when nana told us not to and Jared fell on the concrete, Wow I am making that up...really he just fell and scrapped his leg." (December 23, 2008)
Yesterday when the boys and I got home they wanted to go outside and play and I was going to clean my car. We went in the house to get them a snack and I changed clothes. I guess I was taking longer to change than Jacob thought I should be and he told me that I am just like a woman. I asked him why he says that and he said because I was taking forever. (December 2008)
When you see a little black and white animal running across the road and you are praying it does not raise its tail Jared will tell you that you are not seeing a sKunk but instead are seeing a sTunk. That's right those sTunks really stink. When Jacob was first learning to talk he also called sKunks...sTunks.(November 2008)
Lately, when Jared is trying to do something and cannot seem to get it to work he says, "This is driving me nuts". (November 2008)
In the mornings when Jared comes into my bathroom I say "oh no the Monster is here" and he always says, "no mommy, it's Jared"! (November 2008)
